Ilham Aliyev approved five documents signed with Turkmenistan

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev approved five documents signed with Turkmenistan.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to President.az, the head of state signed the corresponding decrees in this regard.

These documents include:

1. Agreement between the governments of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan on the main directions of development and deepening of economic cooperation;

2. Memorandum of understanding between the governments of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan on cooperation in the field of defense;

3. Agreement between the governments of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan on cooperation in the field of energy;

4. Protocol between the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan on cooperation in the field of customs statistics of mutual trade;

5. Agreement between the governments of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan on cooperation in the field of food security.

It should be noted that the documents were signed on June 22, 2026, in Baku.
