Ilham Aliyev announced regular dialogue with Uzbekistan on transport policy coordination

Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan agreed to maintain regular dialogue and work on coordinating transport policy with neighboring countries.
As BAKU.WS reports, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev said this in a joint statement with President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
"We also discussed in detail the transport and logistics sphere, taking into account both current opportunities and future projects that will lead to the creation of a more extensive and diversified transport infrastructure in the Central Asian region with access through the Caspian Sea to Azerbaijan, and further in the western direction. We agreed not only to continue coordinating our projects in a bilateral format to ensure our infrastructures are ready to handle large volumes of cargo, but also to maintain regular dialogue and work on coordinating transport policy in a multilateral format with our neighboring countries," the head of state noted.
