Fuad Najafli: Washington agreements ensure unimpeded connection with Nakhchivan

The agreements reached during President Ilham Aliyev's visit to Washington ensure the establishment of unhindered connection between the main part of Azerbaijan and the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.

As BAKU.WS reports with reference to Report, this was stated by the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of Azerbaijan in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Fuad Najafli at a special government meeting dedicated to the results of the head of state's visit to the USA.

According to Najafli, the absence of a direct land connection with Nakhchivan created certain difficulties.

"Thanks to the policy of the head of state, Nakhchivan has entered a new stage of development. Various projects in social, economic, scientific, cultural and other spheres are being implemented in the Autonomous Republic," added the President's representative.
