Donald Trump expressed gratitude to Ilham Aliyev
US President Donald Trump expressed gratitude to the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan for adhering to the peace agreement signed last August.
As reported by BAKU.WS, the corresponding publication was posted on Trump's Truth Social page.
According to him, the past war was "horrible" and was one of eight that he managed to end, but now the region has entered a period of peace and prosperity. Trump emphasized that in February, US Vice President JD Vance will visit Azerbaijan and Armenia to continue peace efforts and promote the "Trump Route to International Peace and Prosperity" (TRIPP).
He also stated his intention to strengthen strategic partnership with Azerbaijan, conclude a peaceful cooperation agreement in the nuclear sphere with Armenia, and negotiate deals in the interests of American semiconductor manufacturers.
Additionally, Trump reported that the US plans to sell American-made defense equipment to Azerbaijan, including body armor, boats, and other products.
