At the ADEX-2026 exhibition in Baku, CSG announced the establishment of a second joint venture in Azerbaijan as early as December of this year.
Over time, the technologies and innovations for howitzer production will be transferred to Azerbaijan. The company forecasts the commercial impact of the project at €1.8 billion over seven years of its implementation.
CSG's statement emphasized that due to confidentiality terms, the type of howitzers to be produced and the local company to be partnered with are not disclosed.
It should be noted that CSG had previously established a joint venture in Azerbaijan, VEXA DS LLC, which is engaged in the repair, maintenance, and modernization of armored and other ground military equipment.
