Bayramov and Ryzhenkov discussed the drone attack on Nakhchivan

Belarusian Foreign Minister Maksim Ryzhenkov called the head of Azerbaijan's foreign policy agency Jeyhun Bayramov.

This was reported to BAKU.WS by the Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

It is noted that during the talks, the diplomats exchanged views on the latest developments unfolding in the region.

The parties expressed concern over the military escalation and particularly emphasized the importance of refraining from actions that could provoke a further rise in tensions.

Minister Jeyhun Bayramov informed his Belarusian counterpart about the drone attacks carried out by Iran on March 5 against the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.

The ministers also discussed other issues of mutual interest to both sides.
