Azerbaijan withdraws its diplomatic personnel from Iran

Azerbaijan's diplomatic personnel are being evacuated from Iran.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Oxu.Az, this was stated by Azerbaijan's Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov at a joint press conference with his Moldovan counterpart Mihai Popșoi.

He noted that the corresponding order was given by President Ilham Aliyev.

"The evacuation of both our consulate staff in Tabriz and embassy staff is in the process of being carried out," the minister said.
