Asif Ali Zardari congratulated Ilham Aliyev
The President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari sent a congratulatory letter to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on the occasion of Victory Day.

"Your Excellency.
On behalf of the government and people of Pakistan, and personally from myself, I convey to Your Excellency and the brotherly people of Azerbaijan the warmest congratulations on the fifth anniversary of the glorious Victory Day.
This day is a pride-inspiring celebration of the persistent struggle and determination of the Azerbaijani people who, showing selflessness under the visionary leadership of Your Excellency, restored the sovereignty and territorial integrity of their Homeland. The liberation of the occupied territories remains a significant achievement in Azerbaijan's modern history, symbolizing justice, patience, and national unity.
The celebration of Victory Day this year has special significance as it coincides with the advancement of positive results on the path to lasting peace in the region after significant development in relations with Armenia. This historic moment instills new hope for building a future in which stability, cooperation, and prosperity will be ensured for all.
