Araik Arutyunyan spoke about Ruben Vardanyan during the trial

At the ongoing trial in the Baku Military Court on March 14, the accused Araik Arutyunyan spoke about the citizen of the Republic of Armenia Ruben Vardanyan, who is currently on trial in Azerbaijan.

As Report informs, A. Arutyunyan stated that he knows him well:

"I have known Ruben Vardanyan since 2005. We met multiple times. The last meeting was supposed to take place in August, September, or October 2023. He held the position of 'state minister' for two and a half to three months."

Note that the trial of citizens of the Republic of Armenia, accused of crimes against peace and humanity, war crimes, including preparation and waging of aggressive war, genocide, violation of laws and customs of war, as well as terrorism, its financing, forcible seizure of power and holding it by force, and other serious crimes, will continue on March 17.
