Wind to intensify in Baku and Absheron - WARNING

Due to the windy weather expected on April 9 in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, as well as in some regions of Azerbaijan, yellow and orange warnings have been issued.

This was reported by BAKU.WS with reference to the National Hydrometeorological Service of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources.

In Agstafa, Gazakh, Ganja, Mingachevir, Barda, Tartar, Agdam, Kalbajar, Yevlakh, Zardab, Goychay, Gusar, Balakan, Zagatala, Sheki, Gakh, Gabala, Ismayilli, Shamakhi, Gobustan, Neftchala, Goranboy, Dashkasan, Naftalan, in accordance with the orange warning, gusts of northwesterly wind will intensify to 20.8–28.4 m/s.

In Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, as well as in most regions, in accordance with the yellow warning, the maximum speed of the northwesterly wind will reach 13.9–20.7 m/s.
