Leyla Aliyeva and Arzu Aliyeva familiarized themselves with the work of a local craftsman in Lankaran

Vice President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, founder and head of the IDEA Public Association Leyla Aliyeva and head of Baku Media Center Arzu Aliyeva familiarized themselves in the city of Lankaran with the creative activities of decorative and applied arts master Samir Habibov.

Leyla Aliyeva and Arzu Aliyeva visited the workshop located in his home and examined the decorative handmade products he had crafted.

During the meeting, Samir Habibov provided information about the distinctive features of the art of artistic carving, the materials he uses, and the decorative pieces he has created. Leyla Aliyeva and Arzu Aliyeva observed the carving process and, together with the master, crafted handmade items.

It should be noted that Samir Habibov learned the intricacies of this ancient art from his father in his childhood. He primarily makes souvenirs decorated with national ornaments, decorative objects, and handmade items intended for everyday use from various types of wood materials.

The souvenirs crafted by the master are offered to consumers through the ABAD (Simplified Support for Family Business) retail network.
