The ratio of the debt burden of Azerbaijan's population to its disposable income as of July 1, 2026, was 18.7%, having increased by 0.3 percentage points compared to July 1, 2025.
As reported by Oxu.Az, this is stated in the Central Bank's "Financial Stability Report" for the first half of the year.
"The dynamics of the population's debt burden is a focal point of attention. Despite the positive growth dynamics of the population's disposable income, an increase in the share of debt burden in disposable income is observed," the document notes.
