Mikail Jabbarov: SOCAR is ready to consider investment opportunities with Cambodia

The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) is ready to consider investment opportunities with Cambodia.

As BAKU.WS reports with reference to Oxu.Az, this was stated by Minister of Economy Mikail Jabbarov at the Azerbaijan-Cambodia business forum.

He noted that the energy issue is one of the other important areas between the parties:

"Azerbaijan today is a reliable global supplier of energy resources. The number of countries receiving natural gas from the country via pipelines is 16. The number of countries receiving gas in liquefied form is even greater. Today SOCAR is represented through investment activities in Europe, the USA, the Middle East, Central Asia and the broader region. We will be glad to work together with our partners in Cambodia and explore cooperation opportunities, and we are open to this."
