SOCAR discussed financing of its projects with Citibank
President of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) Rovshan Najaf met with Citibank Managing Director, Global Head of Clean Energy Transition and Head of Natural Resources in the UK, Casey Shepherd.
As reported by BAKU.WS, this was announced by the press service of SOCAR.
According to the information, satisfaction with the long-term cooperation between SOCAR and Citibank was expressed at the meeting, the current state of relations and jointly implemented projects were discussed.
The parties considered opportunities to expand cooperation in the energy and financial sectors, exchanged views on financing oil and gas projects and renewable energy projects implemented by SOCAR, opportunities to enter capital markets, and other issues of mutual interest.
