Mikail Jabbarov: ECO Business Forum gathered more than 200 participants

The VI business forum of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) held in Shusha on July 2 gathered more than 200 participants.
As BAKU.WS reports with reference to Report, this was announced by Azerbaijan's Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov at the 17th ECO summit in Khankendi.
According to him, this forum became a significant platform for strengthening regional economic cooperation through investments, trade, and innovations within the ECO framework.
"The main focus of the event was on unlocking the economic potential of the region through deepening inter-sectoral interaction, improving infrastructure connectivity, and promoting sustainable, inclusive business models. Heads of national chambers of commerce and industry presented reports outlining prospects for trade development, investment attraction, and economic recovery in their countries. Speakers emphasized the need to strengthen dialogue between public and private sectors, expand cross-border trade infrastructure, and increase transparency of the investment climate.
Special attention was paid to digital tools, such as centralized business directories and regulatory platforms, which, according to participants, play a key role in providing small and medium-sized enterprises with access to regional markets," said the head of the economic department.
The minister also emphasized that 20 specialized meetings in B2B and B2G formats were held within the forum, which facilitated active interaction between companies, government structures, and development institutions.
"These meetings allowed us to establish new business connections, discuss investment opportunities, and exchange views on current market trends," added Jabbarov.
