Iran has granted Iraq's request and allowed a group of Iraqi oil tankers to pass through the Strait of Hormuz after repeated appeals from Baghdad.
As reported by foreign media, the decision was made following requests from the Iraqi side through various diplomatic channels.
It is noted that the issue of allowing Iraqi vessels to pass through became one of Baghdad's key demands during the visit of Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf to Iraq.
