Azerbaijan Women's National Team Started with a Victory at the European Volleyball Championship
The Azerbaijan women's national volleyball team has begun its campaign at the European Championship in Baku.
As reported by Oxu.Az, Faig Garayev's squad faced the national team of Portugal in their first match in Group C.
The match, held at the National Gymnastics Arena, ended with a victory for Azerbaijan with a score of 3:1.
The team will play their next group match on August 23 at the same arena against Spain.
It should be noted that in addition to Azerbaijan and Portugal, Group C also includes the national teams of the Netherlands, Spain, Belgium, and Romania. The group stage matches will conclude on August 28.
