Gold prices have set a new historical record

The price of gold futures for April 2024 delivery on the Comex exchange (a division of the New York Mercantile Exchange) has reached a historic high and is trading above $2,850 per troy ounce.

This is according to the trading platform data.

As of 19:51 Baku time, the price of the precious metal was $2,850.9 per troy ounce (+2.05%).

By 20:06 Baku time, the gold price growth slowed to $2,849.7 per ounce (+2.01%).
