A renowned Azerbaijani poet has passed away

Poet Alisamid Kyur has passed away.

As reported by BAKU.WS, this information was conveyed by members of the poet's family.

According to the information, the farewell ceremony and funeral of the poet will take place in Salyan.

It is noted that due to health problems, the poet was admitted to the Republican Diagnostic Center on September 15.

Later, his treatment continued at the Republican Clinical Hospital.

Since no improvement in the poet's health condition was observed, several days ago, with the family's consent, he was released home.

As a reminder, Alisamid Jafarli (Alisamid Kyur) was born on February 8, 1954, in Salyan.

For a long time, he worked as an editor at the Azerbaijan Committee for Television and Radio Broadcasting, in various positions at the Jafar Jabbarli Azerbaijanfilm film studio, and at the Azerbaijan Theater Museum.

His poems have been translated into various languages of the world and published in poetry almanacs and literary magazines.
