Zelensky: The territorial issue was the most difficult in the negotiations
Territorial issue was the most difficult one during yesterday's negotiations between the Ukrainian and US delegations.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky stated this during a joint press conference with his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron in Paris.
"The territorial issue was the most difficult during yesterday's negotiations between the Ukrainian and US delegations, it alone was discussed for 6.5 hours," Zelensky said.
He added that the peace plan now looks better than the original 28-point version.
The Ukrainian leader also denied claims that Russia had taken control of Kupiansk: "Russia claims that the Russian army has entered cities, but they are still under our control. Kupiansk is under our control. Certainly, Russia has several offensive actions, but not a single operation has been successful."
