White House: Trump keeps all options on the table regarding Iran
US President Donald Trump still does not rule out any options for action regarding Iran.
This was stated by White House Press Secretary Caroline Leavitt at a regular briefing for journalists.
"The President continues to monitor [the situation in Iran] closely, but also still considers all options for action... The truth is that only President Trump knows what he will do, and a very, very small group of advisers knows his thinking on this," she said, responding to a question about the possibility of Washington using military force against Tehran.
According to her, Trump continues to closely monitor the situation in Iran. "And yesterday (January 14 - ed.) we learned that the killings and executions will stop. As we have seen, as a result, the lives of 800 people were saved," the White House press secretary believes.
