Wedding in Turkey turned into tragedy: groom shot by bride's relative

Tragedy in Turkey: groom dies at his own wedding. The cause was a celebratory gunshot that became fatal.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Anadolu, newlyweds Beyzanur Beyazit and Ali Karacha were returning home after the ceremony when the groom was hit by a bullet. The suspect - a relative of the bride - has been detained, and two unregistered pistols were found in the 47-year-old woman's garden.

Emergency services arrived at Turpchu village in the Sebinkarahisar district. Ali Karacha was taken to the state hospital with severe injuries, but doctors were unable to save him. The prosecutor's office has launched an investigation. It is known that the tradition of celebratory gunfire at weddings is still widespread in the northern regions of Turkey.
