Turkey and Libya discussed military cooperation

Bilateral relations and military cooperation discussed between Turkey and Libya.

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan wrote about this on his social media account on X.

"As part of our visit to Libya, we held productive talks in Tripoli and Benghazi," he stated, adding that the visit reaffirms Ankara's position in support of a "United Libya."

During his meeting with Prime Minister of Libya's Government of National Unity Abdel Hamid Dbeibah, Fidan discussed bilateral relations, political processes in Libya, regional developments, and security issues.

"In Benghazi, comprehensive consultations on the defense agenda were held with Commander-in-Chief of the Libyan National Army, Marshal Khalifa Haftar, and others," the Turkish Foreign Minister added.
