Trump spoke about another strike on Iran: You'll find out soon

US President Donald Trump said on Tuesday that the American military may have to strike Iran again.

"We may have to hit them again. I'm not sure about that. You'll find out soon," he told reporters near the White House.

He reiterated that Iran must not possess nuclear weapons and accused the US Democratic Party of creating obstacles to negotiations.

The US President noted that the day before he had called off the decision to launch a new strike on Iran "a few hours" before it was set to happen. At the same time, Trump said he was giving only a limited timeframe for the continuation of diplomatic efforts with Iran.

"I would say — two, three days; maybe Friday, Saturday, Sunday, maybe early next week. A limited period of time. Because we cannot allow Iran to have nuclear weapons," the head of the White House said.

According to Trump, Iran has retained some capacity to strike back. "They have military capabilities remaining, but not significant ones," he noted.
