Trump responded to media reports about his intentions regarding Iran

US President Donald Trump sharply responded to The Wall Street Journal publication, which claimed that he approved a plan to attack Iran. In his account on the social network Truth Social, the American leader categorically stated: "The Wall Street Journal has no idea what I think about Iran!"
Earlier, on June 18, the authoritative publication released an article according to which Trump allegedly informed his aides about approving a plan for a potential attack on Iran, although the order for its execution has not yet been given. According to the newspaper, the president expects that the threat of joint strikes with Israel will force Tehran to abandon its nuclear program and accept Washington's conditions.
A source in the White House, who wished to remain unnamed, told journalists that Trump is closely monitoring the development of Israel's military operation and is considering "several options" for US actions, including the possibility of refusing to participate in the conflict.
On Wednesday, responding to journalists' questions at the White House, the US president confirmed that a final decision on strikes against Iran has not yet been made. Additionally, Trump admitted the possibility of a change of power in the Islamic republic.
