Trump made a statement about the death of Ali Larijani
US President Donald Trump stated that the deceased Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council Ali Larijani was responsible for the deaths of protesters in the country.
The American leader's speech was broadcast on the White House YouTube channel.
"Actually, yesterday their top man was killed. He was responsible for the killing of protesters," Trump noted.
Earlier, Israel's Channel 12, citing sources, reported that Larijani did not survive as a result of an Israeli strike. Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz also confirmed the information. The channel emphasized that Larijani is considered the most powerful political figure in the Islamic Republic.
