Trump: Israel and Iran Have Ceased Exchanging Strikes for a Week
Israel and Iran will not exchange strikes for at least a week.
As reported by TASS, US President Donald Trump made this assertion.
"We had a very good conversation [with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu]. He was hit, he hit back. I can't blame him for that. But now they've stopped. So they'll leave each other alone for another week or so," he told reporters.
Trump also stated that the US and Iran could reach a settlement agreement within two to three days.
"Two or three days. We have a good chance of doing it. Ideally, we should be able to do it in an hour," he said.
The American leader claimed that there are no contradictions between the positions of the parties. "I don't think there are any stumbling blocks. We are very close to concluding a very strong, powerful deal," he said.
