Trump does not rule out holding a trilateral meeting with Putin and Zelensky

US President Donald Trump expressed readiness to organize a trilateral meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to TASS, he stated this in a conversation with journalists on the South Lawn of the White House.
"It will happen. But it should have happened three months ago," Trump noted, commenting on the prospect of meeting with the leaders of Russia and Ukraine.
Note that on July 23, the third round of direct negotiations between Russia and Ukraine on conflict resolution took place in Istanbul. Before the main meeting, the heads of delegations - Vladimir Medinsky and Rustem Umerov - held a personal conversation. The full-format negotiations lasted about 40 minutes, during which proposals outlined in draft memorandums were discussed.
The parties agreed on mutual exchanges of both military and civilian personnel. Russia also proposed creating three online groups to discuss political, military, and humanitarian issues. In addition, Moscow declared its readiness to transfer another 3,000 bodies of fallen servicemen to Ukraine and proposed resuming brief humanitarian pauses on the front line for the evacuation of the wounded and bodies.
According to Vladimir Medinsky, the question of holding the next, fourth round of negotiations will be considered after the implementation of the agreements reached.
