Media: Russia strengthens military base in Armenia

Russia is increasing forces at the 102nd military base in Armenia

As BAKU.WS reports, citing the newspaper "Hraparak," large shipments of equipment and ammunition have been delivered to the Russian military base in the city of Gyumri in recent weeks.

According to the publication's sources, several cargo planes with military equipment arrive there daily.

The purpose of these deliveries is not officially disclosed, however, various assumptions are being put forward in the media. According to one version, Moscow is strengthening the base in anticipation of possible changes in the region, despite calm rhetoric about a potential withdrawal from Armenia.

It is noted that the Armenian authorities are aware of what is happening but prefer not to make public statements.
