Trump did not rule out sending American troops to Iran

US President Donald Trump has not ruled out the possibility of deploying American troops in Iran.

The American leader made this statement in an interview with The New York Post, commenting on the question of possibly sending troops to Iran.

"I don't have the jitters about boots on the ground. I mean, every president [of the US] says: 'No boots on the ground.' I don't say that. I say: 'Probably not needed.' Or: 'If they were needed,'" Trump said.
