Trump: Conflict with Iran could end "very quickly"
US President Donald Trump expressed hope for a swift end to the conflict with Iran.
He made this statement on Tuesday at an event with American lawmakers at the White House.
"We're going to end this war very quickly. They (Iran - ed.) really want to make a deal, they're tired," Trump said.
According to him, the settlement process could be completed in the shortest possible time.
"It's going to happen, and it's going to happen fast," the American leader added.
Trump also stated that the US opposes Iran obtaining nuclear weapons, emphasizing that he expects a swift and "polite" resolution of the situation.
