Trump comments on his Ukraine plan for the first time

US President Donald Trump stated that the plan for settling the Ukrainian crisis put forward by Washington is not a "final offer" to Kyiv.

Trump was asked during a conversation with journalists on the South Lawn of the White House whether this was a "final offer" to Ukraine. "No," noted the American leader. "We would like to achieve peace. This should have happened a long time ago," he stated. "We are trying to end this one way or another," added the head of the White House.
