Trump and Netanyahu met in Washington
Iran became the main topic of negotiations between Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and U.S. President Donald Trump at the White House.
This was reported by TV channel N12, citing a high-ranking Israeli official, according to whom the meeting lasted about an hour and proved productive.
"The meeting went very well. The leaders discussed all items on the agenda, primarily Iran. They reaffirmed their commitment to preventing Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons and discussed the strong partnership between Israel and the United States, as well as various opportunities in the Middle East," the channel's source said.
It is noted that nearly all senior representatives of the Washington administration were present at the negotiations between the two leaders.
As evidenced by photographs from the Trump-Netanyahu meeting released by the Israeli prime minister's office, the American side was represented by Vice President JD Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Pentagon chief Pete Hegseth, and presidential special envoy Steve Witkoff.
