American leader Donald Trump is beginning to show irritation over Elon Musk's criticism directed against a bill proposing budget spending cuts.

As reported by The Wall Street Journal citing its sources, the entrepreneur has long been opposed to this initiative.

According to the publication's material, Musk negatively perceived the changes in taxation and government spending proposed by Republicans, which caused the president's displeasure.

An additional reason for tension between Trump and Musk was the head of state's decision not to support the candidacy of Jared Isaacman - Musk's longtime ally - for the position of NASA administrator.
