Russia wants to introduce a new ban for migrants
It is worth limiting the number of bank accounts for foreign citizens in Russia and allowing them to be opened exclusively with foreign passports.
As BAKU.WS reports with reference to kp.ru, such a proposal was made by the first deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on Security and Anti-Corruption, deputy head of the LDPR party Andrei Lugovoy at the plenary session of the Duma.
"It is necessary to limit the number of bank accounts for migrants. It is necessary to establish by law: one migrant - one bank. One account in the bank," the official said.
Lugovoy clarified that currently migrants open accounts in Russian banks using internal identification documents from their countries. However, in his opinion, such important documents should only be processed with foreign passports.
