It is noted that Putin, in military uniform, visited the command post of the Kursk group and heard a report from the Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces Valery Gerasimov.

This is the first visit by the head of state to the Kursk region since the attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the region.
