Putin: I hope that the use of nuclear weapons will not be necessary

Russia possesses all the necessary forces to successfully end the war with Ukraine without using nuclear weapons, no matter how much they try to provoke it.
This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin in a conversation with VGTRK journalist Pavel Zarubin, who published a fragment of the conversation on his Telegram channel.
"They wanted to provoke us, they wanted us to make mistakes. And there was no need to use the weapons you just mentioned. I hope it won't be necessary. We have enough forces and means to bring what was started in 2022 to a logical conclusion with the result needed for Russia," Putin noted.
