Turkish scientist, Professor Shener Ushumezsoy, who previously predicted an earthquake in Istanbul, stated that no new earthquake is expected in the Sea of Marmara in the near future.

Recall that Professor Ushumezsoy twenty days ago in one of the television programs reported that an earthquake with epicenters in Kumburgas and Silivri is possible in Istanbul. He noted: "An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.0 - 6.5 may occur in Kumburgas and Silivri".
