Multi-story building collapsed during an earthquake in Bangkok

A multi-story building under construction collapsed as a result of a powerful earthquake in Bangkok, reports the Telegram channel Mash. A giant cloud of dust that rose after the collapse is visible from various districts of the Thai capital.
The shocking footage shows how the high-rise building literally folds like a house of cards, generating a colossal dust cloud. During the catastrophe, construction cranes installed around the perimeter of the construction site also collapsed.
It should be noted that the underground tremors began at 13:20 local time (9:20 Moscow time). The epicenter of seismic activity was recorded in neighboring Myanmar, where the magnitude reached 7.7. According to Thai media, in the northern regions of Thailand, the strength of the tremors was 4.2.
Currently, an urgent evacuation of residents from high-rise buildings in Bangkok is being conducted. Simultaneously, tourists are being evacuated from hotel complexes. Information about casualties as a result of the natural disaster is not yet available.
The population of Bangkok is approximately 17 million people.
