The tragic events began to unfold on March 3, when Qianqian felt a sharp deterioration in her health. Unfortunately, the young woman did not give it proper attention and did not seek medical help. The situation critically worsened on March 9 - the young Chinese woman fell into a coma from which she never emerged.

According to preliminary data, complications from a severe case of influenza that the young woman had suffered led to the fatal outcome.
