Merz: Ukraine will soon receive long-range weapons

Ukraine will receive long-range weapons systems produced in cooperation with British and German defense industries in the coming weeks and months.
As Report informs, this was stated by German Chancellor Friedrich Merz during a joint press conference with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, which was broadcast by Phoenix TV channel.
"We had a detailed discussion about military support for Ukraine, and it's not just about air defense, but also about Ukraine's capabilities to better defend itself with long-range systems. We call this long range fire. Ukraine will already receive significant additional support in this direction in the near future, including thanks to industrial cooperation that we have established with Ukraine," he said.
Merz specified that this would happen "within the next few weeks and months."
Note that the press conference took place after the signing of a friendship treaty between Great Britain and Germany.
