Man who fired shots at reception attended by Trump charged on two counts

District of Columbia Attorney General Janine Pirro stated that the suspect in the shooting at a reception in downtown Washington attended by U.S. President Donald Trump has been charged on two counts.

"Right now the defendant has been charged on two counts: <...> use of a firearm in the commission of a violent crime and <…> assault on a federal agent with a dangerous weapon," she said at a press conference, adding that the suspect will appear in court on Monday.
