Macron: Preparation of security guarantees for Ukraine is completed

Europe has completed the preparation of security guarantees for Ukraine.

This was announced by French President Emmanuel Macron during a meeting with his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky.

"This preparatory work has been completed," emphasized the head of state.

According to him, the commitments that European leaders made in Washington were prepared, documented, and confirmed today in the afternoon at the level of defense ministers under strict confidentiality.

Europe, according to Macron, is ready to provide Ukraine with security guarantees immediately after a peace agreement resolving the Russian-Ukrainian conflict comes into force.

Note that tomorrow there will be a video conference of the "coalition of the willing" dedicated to security guarantees for Ukraine and its further support.

German Chancellor Friedrich Merz emphasized that the most important security guarantee is sufficient support for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Zelensky, in turn, announced a tangible strengthening of Ukraine against the backdrop of upcoming meetings with European leaders.
