Iran has made a new statement regarding the Strait of Hormuz
Iran will control the movement of vessels through the Strait of Hormuz until the complete end of military operations and the establishment of lasting peace in the region.
As reported by the Fars agency, this was announced by the Supreme National Security Council of the Islamic Republic.
"Given that a large portion of the equipment for American military bases in the Persian Gulf region is supplied through the Strait of Hormuz, this poses a national security threat to the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Persian Gulf region. Iran is determined to supervise and control the movement of vessels through the Strait of Hormuz until the definitive end of the war and the establishment of lasting peace in the region," the agency quoted the Security Council's statement.
