Iran confirmed a drone strike on a skyscraper in Dubai
Iran has officially confirmed a drone strike on the Marina hotel in a tourist district of Dubai. American military personnel were inside the building.
As reported by BAKU.WS, this was announced by RIA Novosti citing the press service of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
The IRGC statement says that military targets in Haifa in northern Israel were also hit during the operation. For this purpose, as specified, the "Kheibar Shekan" solid-fuel missile was used.
In addition, the statement notes that the IRGC naval forces struck facilities supporting American military personnel at Port Salman.
The day before, an Iranian drone crashed into the 23 Marina skyscraper in Dubai. The building has 90 floors. According to preliminary reports, CIA personnel may have been located on one of the levels.
It is also reported that debris fell on the Dubai Hills bridge, causing a car to catch fire. There is no official information yet on the consequences of the incident or possible casualties.
