Donald Trump stated that he loves stopping wars

US President Donald Trump stated that he likes stopping wars, however, he does not consider it his hobby, as "it is much more important." The politician said this during his visit to Kuala Lumpur, reports BAKU.WS with reference to TASS.

According to Trump, one of the first conflicts in which he participated in resolution was the situation between Thailand and Cambodia. "I won't forget that day, because it was one of the first wars I was involved in resolving. I liked doing it. I wouldn't call it a hobby - it's much more serious, but I'm good at it and I love it," he noted.

Trump added that during the ASEAN summit, Thailand and Cambodia signed a joint declaration on relations, which he called a "peace deal."

The President also emphasized that the UN should be engaged in such activities, however, according to him, the organization "doesn't do this." He recalled that during his speech at the UN General Assembly, there were technical problems - "the teleprompter went off and the escalator wasn't working."
