Against the backdrop of the resumption of military operations against Iran, one of the latest statements by US President Donald Trump has attracted particular attention and sparked widespread media coverage. This topic was also the subject of a special discussion on Iranian state television with the participation of experts.

As reported by the YouTube channel Azad İran, the statement concerns a possible strike on a facility located south of the nuclear complex in Natanz, in an area known as Mount Pickaxe.

"We're going to destroy Mount Pickaxe. Tell the Iranians to be ready," Trump stated.

Well-known television host Hugh Hewitt asked the US president whether he would seek to have the suspected fourth Iranian nuclear facility inspected by International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) inspectors.

"You destroyed three of Iran's nuclear facilities. But there may be a fourth one — in Mount Pickaxe. Before entering into a new agreement, will you insist that IAEA inspectors be given access to this deep tunnel to verify what Iran is doing there?" he said.

In response, the American leader stated that the US is closely monitoring the area and considers the mountain a potential target for a strike.

"We are monitoring this site with our air force. We have numerous surveillance capabilities. Mount Pickaxe is a potential target for a powerful and large-scale attack. I think you'll see it. A very heavy strike could be delivered on this target right through the main entrance," he emphasized.

It is noted that the three facilities mentioned by the host are located in Isfahan, Natanz, and Fordow. These were the ones the US struck during the 12-day war last year. However, the question of whether they were completely destroyed remains a matter of debate.

It has now become known that Iran has yet another nuclear facility located at a significantly greater depth. Moreover, very few people knew of its existence, not only abroad but also within the country itself.
