Artist Sara Bordman responded to Trump's criticism of her portrait

British artist Sarah Boardman stated that criticism from former US President Donald Trump called into question her professional integrity and created a threat to her career.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to The Guardian, Boardman painted an official portrait of Trump for the Colorado State Capitol building in Denver, where it hung on the wall for six years.
In March, Trump published a post on his social network "Truth Social," where he claimed that the portrait was "deliberately distorted." The former president noted that Barack Obama's portrait, also painted by Boardman, is "beautiful," however, "the portrait of me is really the worst."
In her first comment after the incident, Boardman stated that Trump's remarks "called into question her integrity and professional skills."
The artist added that she did not deliberately distort the portrait and worked without political bias. After Trump's criticism, it was noted that the portrait would be removed from the Capitol building.
