Binali Yildirim congratulated President Ilham Aliyev

Chairman of the Council of Elders of the Organization of Turkic States Binali Yildirim sent a letter to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.

As reported by AZERTAG, the message states:

"Dear Mr. President,

With the warmest feelings, I congratulate Your Excellency on signing the Joint Declaration, which creates the foundation for launching the Zangezur Corridor and opens a historic page in our region.

This historic event is a concrete indicator of Azerbaijan's strategic position and strong leadership, as well as the transition from the historic Victory won in Karabakh to regional peace, cooperation, and development.

The Zangezur Corridor is a strategically important project that will connect the Turkic world, strengthen trade ties, and further reinforce the brotherly relations between our peoples.

I firmly believe that under Your Excellency's wise leadership, Azerbaijan will continue to play a leading role in ensuring regional stability and the unity of the Turkic world.

Taking this opportunity, I express confidence that the Turkish-Azerbaijani brotherhood will grow even stronger based on the principle of "One nation, two states," and our countries will continue to achieve many historic successes for the implementation of common goals.
