An official statement has been made in Iran regarding the new supreme leader

Iran is in the final stage of selecting a new Supreme Leader.

As reported by BAKU.WS, this was stated by a member of Iran's Assembly of Experts, Ayatollah Ahmad Khatami, as reported by the Iranian agency IRIB News on its Telegram channel.

"The Supreme Leader will be determined in the near future, we are close to a conclusion, however the situation in the country is martial law," he said.

At the same time, Khatami emphasized that the Assembly has already decided on possible candidates for the post of the new Supreme Leader.
